"GRATITUDE"
The Henk van Bergen Clinic, hosted by Delante Dressage in Palm City, FL was awesome, as always and provided valuable insight for continued training of both Dancing on Air and Sir Wimbledon, both owned by Edith Bradshaw of Vero Beach, FL. We were hoping to get video of the clinic, but having enough people to do everything is sometimes not possible. We look forward to the next one, tentatively scheduled for sometime in early spring 2012.
I want to take this public opportunity to personally thank Luis Denizard for organizing and hosting the regular clinics, and especially to Henk van Bergen, whose guidance is so valuable to me as a trainer in an area that is just on the outskirts of "dressage mecca", and therefore sometimes the opportunities are hard to come by.

The next Henk van Bergen Clinic is November 2-3, 2011. Mary will be riding Sir Wimbledon (1st level, working 2nd) and Dancing on Air (FEI level).
Mary is working towards getting her USDF Instructor Certification, and will be showing Dance in several USDF/USEF competitions this season, as well as introducing Sir Wimbledon to rated competition! This should be fun!

IRIDE client, Edith Bradshaw, is the proud new owner of the magnificent 2011 Oldenburg Filly, Honaleigh. (pictured below) She is by Bellissimo M out of a Quaterback daughter owned and bred by Judy Yancey of Yancey Farms in Ocala, FL. Not even weaned yet, she was the champion of the Oldenburg Inspections on August 4, 2011, earning Premium with Distinction! Edie certainly has a good eye for dressage horses!

April 13-14th--Mary will ride in a clinic with Henk van Bergen in Palm City. One of Mary's young rider students, Austin Harrelson, will also be riding in the clinic. We look forward to two days of intensive instruction from one of the world's leading dressage masters. February 27th--Two IRIDE students, Jennifer Sims and Austin Harrelson competed in the Atlantic Crossing Dressage Schooling Show. The results are:
Jennifer Sims-- in her first horse show ever!
Training Level Test 1--(second highest score of the show!) 69.17% 1st place
Traning Level Test 2-- 65.73% 2nd place

January 16-17th, 2010--Mary attended the USDF FEI Level Dressage Trainers conference in Loxahatchee. The presenter was Henk van Bergen. The weather was sunny and a bit on the cold side, the demonstration riders and horses were fabulous!!!, and the content was excellent. HvB's insight into the priorities of training the horses up through the levels is amazing, and I am looking forward to learaning much more from Henk van Bergen! He will be back in April for a clinic in Palm City--stay tuned for dates/times!

MEET DONNA DORA!
She is a 7 year old grey Holsteiner approved Oldenburger mare
by Donnerschlag (xDonnerhall) out of Drezden (xDuellglanz).
IRIDE is proud to own such a high quality mare that will produce outstanding dressage-type offspring.
These important Oldenburg/Hannoverian bloodlines make her a very valuable broodmare. In addition, she is wonderful under saddle with great gaits and a wonderful work ethic.
The search is on to find a super stallion to produce offspring that will continue adding value to the important lines of this outstanding mare.

The January 30th Dressage Clinic at Abbey Road Stables in Vero Beach was a great success! There were 9 rides, which made for a full day. There were very nice quality horses and ponies in the clinic, and the weather was great, despite a rainy forecast. There is a collage of pictures of the day on the clinic page.
