BOGART

1985 Dutch Warmblood Gelding

15.3hh, 26 years old

Bogart is IRIDE's schoolmaster.  He is well-schooled through second level, but is gentle enough for your first ride.  He is a real confidence-booster, and is ready to show you the ropes.
He is still competitive and confident in the showring, and consistently places at the top of his classes with scores in the mid- to upper-60%.
A sampling of past scores are:

Sept. 2009 (USDF/USEF recognized competition)
Wellington Classic Fall Challenge I & II
rider: Mary McGuire Smith

Training Level Test 2-- 67.500% (tied for first) Reserve Champion
Training Level Test 4-- 66.000% Fourth Place
First Level Test 1-- 65.000% Reserve Champion
First Level Test 2-- 65.000% Reserve Champion

February 2010
Starwood Series Dressage Schooling Show
rider: IRIDE student, Jennifer Sims

Training Level Test 1-- 69.13% First Place (second highest score of the show!)
Training Level Test 2-- 65.71% Second Place
this was Jennifer's first show, ever!

Come see why Bogart has such a huge fan base (and his own page on Facebook!)

UPDATE:

It is with great sadness that I have to report that we lost Bogart on 11-10-11.
He was one of the great ones.  He was 26 years old.  He will be missed by me, and by all the students and people whose lives he touched.  He was one of the most kind, patient and generous horses I have ever known.  I am honored to have shared his life for the past eight years.  He is buried underneath his favorite tree out in the front pasture of our Vero Beach, FL facility.
Thank you to everyone who shared in his life.
If anyone wishes to sign his guest book, I have set up a page here for him.

DONNA DORA

by Donnerschlag X Drezden (x Duellglanz)

2003 grey Oldenburger mare
approved main mare book AHHA

IRIDE owns this lovely mare.
She is currently at home at IRIDE and being trained and conditioned
in preparation for breeding in early 2012.

Riding her is an absolute pleasure, and the plan is to take her to a few shows
this season to increase her own value, as well as the value of
a resulting foal.
She will be bred to Voice (see a video of this exciting
stallion below!) this coming spring for a 2013 foal.

She has a lovely character, super conformation and gaits, excellent breeding (from the Donnerhall line)
and with the special selection of this high quality stallion, we are looking forward to an outstanding foal.

This coming year, as she carries her foal, she will continue to be trained and ridden lightly with respect to her condition.

Donna Dora

I really like this stallion....his name is Voice.  He is from the Donnerhall (thru Don Shufro) and Rohdiamant (thru his dam) lines, both of which I just love.  He went from maybe a choice for Dora to the top choice for her!
Thanks to Judy Yancey of Yancey Farms Sporthorses in Ocala, FL for all her help in the breeding department...she has an outstanding list of stallions to breed your quality mares to, and IRIDE recommends her highly!
