Indian River Institute for Dressage and Equestrians is located in Indian River County, Florida. We are a convenient drive from I-95 or the Florida Turnpike.

Mary McGuire-Smith is the Instructor/Trainer at IRIDE. She is the first of Florida's only two American Riding Instructor Association Certified Level III Dressage Instructors. Mary's students range in age from 6 years old to their 70's, and from the first time on a horse through the Intermediare II level. She also teaches riders and trains horses to jump for eventing divisions.

We welcome all persons interested in learning to ride horses, or to increase knowledge and skills. Competitive or not, our focus is on developing a correct foundation in both horse and rider. We build on that foundation according to the individual goals of each rider, whether it is towards competition in dressage or eventing up to the highest levels, or if it is for the pure enjoyment of harmonious interaction between two species.
